A RESOLUTION CONGRATULATING AND PROUDLY COMMENDING
THE ATLETANG TAYTAYEÑOS THAT COMPETED AND WON MEDALS
IN THE DEPED CALABARZON’S REGIONAL ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION MEET HELD AT THE PROVINCE OF CAVITE AND RESPECTFULLY REQUESTING MAYOR ALLAN MARTINE S. DE LEON, MPA, TO GRANT FINANCIAL INCENTIVES TO ALL PODIUM FINISHERS, COACHES, TRAINERS AND CHAPERONES FROM TAYTAY, RIZAL WHO WON MEDALS IN THEIR RESPECTIVE SPORTING EVENTS DURING THE 2023 REGIONAL MEET AND GAVE HONOR TO THE MUNICIPALITY OF TAYTAY AND THE PROVINCE OF RIZAL
WHEREAS, DepEd CALABARZON’s 2023 Regional Athletic Association Meet hosted by the Province of Cavite held from March 24 until April 23, 2023 was participated by the delegation from the different municipalities from the Province of Rizal;
WHEREAS, the student athletes that won in the different sports during their respective Municipal Meets and the Provincial Athletic Meet were pooled to represent the province as the Rizal Skylarks who once again dominated the Regional Meet after the event’s three-year hiatus;
WHEREAS, during the closing ceremonies, the Rizal Skylarks were once again crowned as the overall champion, a feat they have been achieving for nine straight times and more than half of the medals hauled were delivered by Atletang Taytayeños;
WHEREAS, the final tally showed that members of the Taytay Builders who represented the Province of Rizal garnered 119 Gold medals, 41 Silver medals and 21 Bronze medals, thanks to the combined efforts of the athletes, their coaches, trainers and chaperones;
WHEREAS, the Local Government Unit of Taytay under the leadership of Mayor Allan Martine S. De Leon, MPA and the whole Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay applaud and salute all the hard work and dedication of the whole delegation from Taytay, Rizal;
WHEREAS, these accomplishments of our student athletes and their coaches and trainers, have brought pride and honor not just to the Municipality of Taytay but to the Province of Rizal as well, thus deserve this commendation and incentives;
WHEREAS, during the Municipal School Board Meeting on April 18, 2023, the Board unanimously agreed that a monetary incentive is but fitting to be bestowed upon our Atletang Taytayeños who won medals in the recently concluded RAAM as well as well as their coaches, trainers and chaperones subject to availability of funds and proper auditing;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved by the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Taytay, Rizal, in session duly assembled, hereby CONGRATULATES AND PROUDLY COMMENDS THE ATLETANG TAYTAYEÑOS THAT COMPETED AND WON MEDALS IN THE DEPED CALABARZON’S REGIONAL ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION MEET HELD AT THE PROVINCE OF CAVITE AND RESPECTFULLY REQUESTS MAYOR ALLAN MARTINE S. DE LEON, MPA, TO GRANT FINANCIAL INCENTIVES TO ALL PODIUM FINISHERS, COACHES, TRAINERS AND CHAPERONES FROM TAYTAY, RIZAL WHO WON MEDALS IN THEIR RESPECTIVE SPORTING EVENTS DURING THE 2023 REGIONAL MEET AND GAVE HONOR TO THE MUNICIPALITY OF TAYTAY AND THE PROVINCE OF RIZAL.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the official list of medalists coaches, trainers and chaperons to be given such incentives be included as attachments of this Resolution.
RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, that the Sanggunian Secretariat send copies of this Resolution to all concerned offices for their appropriate action and consideration.
